An expression and/or joke which is known internationally. The translation here from Scots to English is 'your mother'. This joke is particulary popular with drunk people from Glasgow. I am keen on the way, in this drawing it looks like the whole coast line is spelling out 'yer maw' to the reader, like it has been washed up by the sea. Almost as if it was the sea's idea.
